Since then I've gotten to know their vocalist Eddie Cadaver a little bit through the magic of Facebook. He's a total creep, and I mean that in the very best way. Read on find that out for yourself!
1) Where were you born and what is one way that place has effected you as a person?
A) I was born in Birmingham Alabama and most of my childhood was spent in in South Georgia. I grew up in a town that had literally nothing to do for fun so I was forced to use my imagination and play outside. I think growing up in that shit-hole town made me who I am today.
2) What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?
A) When I was like 5 I had a teddy bear that turned into a crazy monster, I loved that thing. I think it was called a Wearbear but I am not 100% on that. Other than that I was really big into Ghostbusters and Batman figures. I always got annoyed at the Batman toys though... It always seemed like they would have like 9 Batman toys in different ridiculous multicolored suits and maybe 2 villains. I always preferred villains.
3) What is one album everybody should own?
A) King Diamond - "Them"
4) Is your current occupation a career?
A) I build computers throughout the day, undead rock star by night. Music is my life but it doesn't pay the bills right now.
5) If so, how and when did you realize that? If not, what are you working towards?
A) I would love to be able to just focus my time and energy on music, but I still find plenty of time for it so I am content with my line of work.
6 )Who is your favorite wrestler and why?
A) The Undertaker, because he is spooky and he can whoop ass.
7) What are the best shoes you’ve ever owned?
A) I usually wear Converse but I have a pair of K-Swiss Tubes that I wear at work and they are really comfortable so probably the K-Swiss.
8)How did you become involved with The Casket Creatures?
A) I have been obsessed with horror ever since I can remember, and I have been playing with various bands since middle school. Me and Jamie (guitarist for The Casket Creatures) decided to form a horror punk/rock band. And thus The Casket Creatures were born.
9) Which actor do you feel like you could sit and watch for hours no matter what they were doing and why?
A) Bill Murray, I don't know what it is about that guy but I will go see any movie he is in. He has been my favorite actor since the first Ghostbusters.
10) What inspires you to do what you do?
A) I absolutely love performing on stage. Having a crowd singing along to music I helped create is a big deal to me and I love every minute of it. My lyrics may not always be profound with songs like Bats, Blood and Bitches and Bark Of The Beast, but I do what I know and most importantly I have fun doing it.
11) What is something you cannot wait to see or have more of?
A) Honestly I hope to see more horror oriented bands pop up around the area. There are huge things going on with the horror punk scene in other states and I hope we can help bring it to life in our local area.
12) Is there a movie that should never be remade and if so which one?
A) I do not ever want to see a remake of Indiana Jones. Harrison Ford is and always will be Indy.
13) Closer – can you sell me cold on your current project?
A) The Casket Creatures are taking horror-punk/horror-rock to a new level. Our songs are catchy, heavy, campy, but very well written. Our first album "Tales From The Unknown" is available on Itunes, Amazon, and CD Baby and the next chapter in terror "Sex, Blood, and Rock N' Roll" will be released this winter. We also sell cd's and merch at all of our shows! "Like" us to keep up with our show dates. www.facebook.com/thecasketcreatures

Troublemaker vs. 31 Days of Halloween
If
you’re new here or haven’t been keeping up, this is where I give
my thoughts on SyFy’s “31 days of Halloween” programming.
Obviously I haven’t seen everything I’ll be talking about, but
that’s kind of what the internet is all about – talking out of
your ass.
Each
day I will cover the schedule from the time my post goes live
(usually 11 AM) through the following 24 hours. On Fridays I will
cover the whole weekend, which is a huge pain in the ass but also
kind of fun.
Enjoy!
11:00
AM – 4:00 PM – Ghost Hunters
– I’m sure there are plenty of people who will be willing to sit
down and watch this nonsense for five hours. After all, it’s been
on for eight fucking years.
And they still haven’t seen a ghost. It’s ridiculous. I mean,
imagine if they did a show about Superman where he never even put on
the costume or flew or anythi… Never mind. I guess Ghost
Hunters has at least two
more years left.

PM – 8:00 PM – Paranormal Witness
– After somehow managing to miss all 3,428 hours of this show that
SyFy aired during October last year I finally managed to catch some
episodes around March. This one’s pretty good because it’s what
the Ghost Hunters are trying to convince you they’re actually
doing. The show does reenactments of paranormal events and it’s
pretty creepy and good. I could sit and watch this for four hours.

PM – 10:00 PM – Ghost Hunters
– New episodes start tonight. I think one of the main guys is gone
now, so you can thrill to some scab Ghost Hunter pretending to be
scared of creaky floorboards in amazing Night
Vision Goggles-O-Vision!

PM – 11:30 PM – Paranormal Witness
– This new episode is titled “The Abduction”, which reminds me
of aliens, which make me so scared I almost shit my pants. I hate
aliens and I’m not sure how a ghost could abduct you. Are aliens
“paranormal”?

Well,
shit. That doesn’t clear anything up.
Oh, hell
– I just noticed that this one has a whole extra half hour. What
kind of fucked up fuckery could possibly result in this show needing
an extra 22 minutes of time? I am terrified.

– Weird – this is what I call the purple 1938 Bugatti that I
don’t own. All I can tell you about this is that it stars Nicole
Eggert and features the tagline, “Fast and Furious and Fatal”
and until I looked at the cover I didn’t realize it was probably
supposed to be a knockoff of Ghost Rider.

AM – 8:30 AM – The Twilight Zone
– I totally get SyFy putting Twilight
Zone on here, but I wish
they’d save it for their regular New Year’s Day marathon. This
one is “The Old Man In The Cave”, which sounds not much different
from a Pos-T-Vac ad.
Ha!
Actually, this takes place in a post-apocalyptic 1974. This one isn’t
very Halloweeny, but it is pretty creepy and disheartening.

it now!
